USA Wrestling Club Open Grades 5-12

Where: Rockwood Summit /Lindbergh wrestling rooms

When: Tuesdays (Lindbergh) and Thursdays (Summit) March 27——May 17th 6:00-7:30 pm

Summer schedule TBA

Cost: $50 for 16 sessions-includes USA Card or $20 If already have USA card

Why: Combining Summit and Lindbergh rooms 6-12 grade

How: Fill out the RL Registration and the USA Wrestling waiver, make checks payable to RL Wrestling

Matches: we would like to create a tournament team that will travel around the area and compete in the Missouri state freestyle-Greco tournament

Tournament Registration Information

 

Rateings

1= Finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in State Tournament (Blue Division)

2= Finished 4th,5th or 6th in State Tournament (Blue Division)

3= Returning Wrestlers

4= First Year Beginners

 

Age Groups

Bantam born 2004 & after

Midget born 2002 and 2003

Novice born 2000 and 2001

Schoolboy born July 1998 through Dec.1999

Cadets born Jan.1996 tell June 1998

 

Tournaments,Weight Classes and Brackets

RL will submit age, ratings and weights to the hosting tournament. Brackets will be then made and posted at the tournment site. Typically your wrestler will be assigned a mat to where they will wrestle all of their matches. Wrestlers are grouped by age, weight (within 12% of their weight) and experience.

 

 

3 tournaments this year will have weight classes.The Ozark District, Missouri Challange and AAU State. Tournament Flyers will show age and weight brackets, there will be weigh-ins. YOU MUST make scratch weight (weighing less than weight class you listed.) 

 

Parents, please register your child ONLINE in order for them to participate in the tournaments on Saturday or Sunday.

DO NOT REGISTER WITH THE TOURNAMENT HOST. ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE THROUGH ROCKWOOD LINDBERGH WRESTLING CLUB.

Thursday Pratices will be held at Summit

Please attend all pratices at both locations.

Starting Times:

K - 5th will be 5:45 - 7:15

6th, 7th and 8th grades will be 6:45 - 8:45

 

 

 

 

Shoe Program

We offer Free used shoes to have for the Year. However this is how it works, if your size is in the bucket they're yours. But you must return them at end of year. Returning wrestlers that donate their out grown shoes will get first crack at the bucket.

 

 

Snow Days

RL follows school closings. If your school has been cancelled due to weather, wrestling practice will be cancelled also.
